Summary
Recent research has identified that many athletes who return to sport following ACLR do not fully clear return to sport testing. Additionally, these individuals are at a higher risk of secondary injury with long term risk for development of osteoarthritis. This course intends to provide clinicians with a base understanding of the importance of return to sport testing and the current research for hop testing.
Learning Objectives:
- Understand the risk factors/epedimiology of secondary injury following ACLR
- Understand implementation and scoring of current hop testing procedures
- Identify areas where research is developing for new/expanded tests
